Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 cups finely crushed chocolate wafers
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 package (6 ounces)
  • chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Combine wafers and melted butter.
  3. Press into 9″ spring-form pan.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes.
  5. Combine cream cheese with 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla until well blended.
  6. Add 2 well-beaten egg yolks and melted chocolate chips.
  7. Beat 2 egg whites to soft peaks and add 1/2 cup sugar, beating gradually until stiff peaks form.
  8. Fold beaten egg whites into cream mixture.
  9. Then fold in whipped cream and pecans.
  10. Pour over crust and freeze.
