Baked Fudge Recipe

Serves 6

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • whipped cream for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Combine cocoa and butter.
  3. Add all the dry ingredients to eggs, mixing well.
  4. Stir in the blended cocoa and butter, nuts and vanilla.
  5. Pour into a greased 8″ square pyrex baking dish.
  6. Place this in a larger pan of water and bake for 45 minutes.  The inside will be moist.
  7. Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream.
