Serves 10-12

Ingredients:

  • 2 3-ounce packages chocolate pudding
  • 2 3-ounce packages vanilla pudding
  • 8 cups milk
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 strips lemon peel
  • 3 4-1/2-ounce containers Cool Whip
  • 1 large angel food cake
  • 1/2 cup white rum
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions:

  1. In separate saucepans, prepare chocolate and vanilla puddings according to package directions, adding 4 cups of milk, 1 cinnamon stick, and 1 strip lemon peel to each pudding as it cooks.
  2. Cool the puddings.
  3. Stir 1 container of Cool Whip into each pudding and mix well.
  4. Slice the angel food cake and brush each slice with rum.
  5. In a very large glass bowl, place a layer of vanilla pudding on the bottom, and then layer cake, chocolate pudding, cake and vanilla pudding until the bowl is filled.
  6. Cover the top layer with Cool Whip and decorate with nuts or chocolate curls.
  7. Chill for at least 8 hours.

To serve, spoon onto plates or into glasses.
