Poppy Seed and Wine Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup cream sherry
  • 1/2 cup poppy seeds

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Mix all ingredients together, stir to blend, then beat 5 minutes at medium speed.  Pour into greased bundt or tube pan.
  3. Bake for 45-55 minutes.
  4. Cool, then sprinkle well with confectioners’ sugar.
