Pie Crust Recipe

Yield: 10″ pie crust

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Sift flour, salt and sugar together.
  2. Add milk to oil and stir until mixed.  Immediately pour over the flour mixture and work into a ball, handling as little as possible.
  3. Roll the dough between two pieces of wax paper.
  4. It will not stick to the paper so does not need to be refrigerated before rolling.
  5. If pastry is to be pre-baked, prick crust with fork before baking to prevent bubbles and place in a preheated oven at 425° for 10-12 minutes.
