Marzipan Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1-1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 teaspoon almond flavoring
  • food color

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300°.
  2. Cream butter and sugar.
  3. Stir in flavoring.
  4. Add flour.
  5. Divide into batches, adding the necessary food color for each batch (red for strawberries, green for leaves, etc.).
  6. Shape into fruits and vegetables about 1″ in diameter.
  7. Chill for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 30 minutes.
