Serves 8-10
Ingredients:
Cake
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup milk
- 1 ounce bourbon
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Topping
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup bourbon
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Mix all cake ingredients together and beat 5 minutes at medium speed. Pour into a greased bundt or tube pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes.
- Combine butter, sugar and 1/2 cup bourbon and cook slowly until sugar dissolves.
- Pour half the topping on hot cake. Wait 15 minutes, remove cake from pan, and pour remaining topping on bottom of cake.
- Let set for a few minutes, then turn cake upright.
