Serves 8
Ingredients:
- 1-1/4 cups crushed chocolate wafers
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 2/3 cup milk
- 24 large marshmallows
- 2 ounces creme de menthe (green)
- 1 ounce creme de cacao (white)
- 1/2 pint whipping cream
- grated chocolate for garnish
Instructions:
- Mix cookie crumbs and margarine.
- Press evenly onto bottom and sides of 9″ pie plate.
- Chill.
- Scald milk.
- Add marshmallows and allow them to melt, stirring often.
- Cool to room temperature.
- Add creme de menthe and creme de cacao to cooled marshmallow mixture.
- Whip cream until stiff and fold into mixture.
- Pour into chilled pie shell and freeze.
- Remove from freezer 20 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with grated chocolate.
