Ingredients:
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup sherry
- 1 pint heavy cream, whipped
- 12 ladyfingers
- 2 tablespoons chopped pecans
- 2 tablespoons candied
- cherries, chopped
Instructions:
- Beat egg yolks until very light.
- Add sugar and beat well.
- Stir in sherry.
- Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites, then whipped cream.
- Line a large glass bowl with ladyfingers split in half lengthwise.
- Add pecans and candied cherries to the cream mixture and pour into the bowl.
- Freeze 3-4 hours.
- Remove from freezer 15 minutes before serving.
