Serves 10-12
Ingredients:
- 32 chocolate wafers (8-1/2 ounce package)
- 3/4 cup butter
- 2 egg whites, beaten
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 package (10 ounces) frozen strawberries
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 cup whipping cream
Instructions:
- Crush wafers.
- Mix with melted butter and press into bottom of lightly greased 13″ x 9″ x 2″ pan (save a few crumbs to sprinkle on top of dessert).
- Combine beaten egg whites, sugar, berries and lemon juice, and beat with an electric mixer at high speed until stiff peaks form (about 10 minutes).
- Whip cream and fold into mixture.
- Pour over wafer crust, then top with remaining crumbs.
- Freeze 6 hours or overnight.
- Cut into squares.
