Ingredients:
- 3 pints lemon sherbet
- 1/3 cup green creme de menthe
- 1 quart fresh strawberries
- confectioners’ sugar
Instructions:
- Soften sherbet slightly, then beat in large bowl until smooth, but not melted.
- Stir in creme de menthe until combined.
- Turn mixture into 6-cup round ring mold; freeze until firm.
- Wash strawberries; drain but do not hull.
- Refrigerate strawberries.
- Invert mold over chilled serving platter.
- Place hot cloth over mold and shake to release sherbet.
- After sherbet has been unmolded onto serving plate, fill center of ring with strawberries.
- Dust berries with confectioners’ sugar.
- Serve at once.
