Fudge Sundae Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 package (6 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package (12 ounces) vanilla wafers
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  • pecan halves or cashews

Instructions:

  1. In top of double boiler, combine milk, chocolate, marshmallows and salt.
  2. Stir over medium heat until melted and mixture is thick.
  3. Cool to spreading consistency.
  4. Line 9″ pie tin with vanilla wafers.
  5. Spoon half of ice cream over wafers, and spread half of chocolate mixture over ice cream.
  6. Repeat and top with nuts.
  7. Freeze until firm.
  8. Remove from freezer 20 minutes before serving.
  9. Use a knife dipped in hot water for easier cutting.
