Freezes Well
Yield: 1-1/2 dozen
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour, sifted
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add egg and vanilla and mix well.
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt and add to mixture.
- Blend well.
- Stir in chocolate chips and nuts, and pour into a greased 8″ pan.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Cool in pan and cut into squares.
