Lemon Surprise Cake Recipe

Serves 10

Ingredients:

  • 1 envelope Dream Whip
  • 1 package vanilla pudding
  • 1 package lemon pudding
  • 1 angel food cake
  • 1 quart strawberries

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Dream Whip, vanilla and lemon puddings according to package instructions.
  2. Cover puddings with waxed paper and cool.
  3. Stir 3 tablespoons Dream Whip into lemon pudding.
  4. Cut from cake a piece 1″ from edge and 1-1/2″ deep, all around.
  5. Remove this piece and fill cake with lemon pudding mix.  Replace top of cake.
  6. Mix remaining Dream Whip with vanilla pudding and frost cake.
  7. Slice with serrated knife and serve covered with strawberries.
