Freezes Well
Serves 6
Ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup nuts, chopped
- 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- whipped cream for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Combine cocoa and butter.
- Add all the dry ingredients to eggs, mixing well.
- Stir in the blended cocoa and butter, nuts and vanilla.
- Pour into a greased 8″ square pyrex baking dish.
- Place this in a larger pan of water and bake for 45 minutes. The inside will be moist.
- Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream.
