A nice holiday cookie!

Make Ahead
Yield: 3 dozen
Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons water
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- confectioners’ sugar
Instructions:
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add water and vanilla and mix well.
- Blend in flour and nuts.
- Chill mixture 4 hours or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Shape into balls or fingers and bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 20 minutes.
- Remove and cool on racks.
- Roll in confectioners’ sugar.
