Quick Chocolate Mousse Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 package (6 ounces) chocolate chips
  • 5 tablespoons boiling water
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon sherry or rum
  • 4 egg whites
  • whipped cream for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Melt chocolate and put in blender.
  2. Add boiling water and mix.
  3. Add egg yolks and mix.
  4. Add liquor and mix.
  5. Beat egg whites until stiff.
  6. Fold chocolate mixture into egg whites.
  7. Pour into souffle dish (1 to 1-1/2 quarts) and chill.
  8. To serve, top with whipped cream.
