Freezes Well
Yield: 10″ pie crust
Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1-1/2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
Instructions:
- Sift flour, salt and sugar together.
- Add milk to oil and stir until mixed. Immediately pour over the flour mixture and work into a ball, handling as little as possible.
- Roll the dough between two pieces of wax paper.
- It will not stick to the paper so does not need to be refrigerated before rolling.
- If pastry is to be pre-baked, prick crust with fork before baking to prevent bubbles and place in a preheated oven at 425° for 10-12 minutes.
