Freezes Well
Yield: 11 dozen
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 1 pound light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3-1/2 generous cups sifted flour
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Instructions:
- Cream eggs and brown sugar.
- Add butter, baking soda, flour, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Chill overnight in a 9″x5″x3″ loaf pan lined with wax paper.
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Slice 1/4″ thick, then divide into quarters.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10 minutes or until light brown.
