Fruit Skewer Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 24 hibachi skewers
  • 6 bananas
  • 2 cantaloupe melons
  • 1 bunch seedless grapes
  • 1 honeydew melon
  • 1/4 cup Cointreau
  • 2 boxes fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 fresh pineapple

Instructions:

  1. Make melon balls with cantaloupe and honeydew.
  2. Wash and hull strawberries.
  3. Cut pineapple into bite-size chunks.
  4. Peel and slice bananas into 1/2″ slices.
  5. Separate grapes.
  6. Put all fruit into a large bowl.
  7. Pour Cointreau and sugar over fruit.
  8. Coat fruit well and marinate in refrigerator several hours.
  9. Alternate fruit on skewers, and arrange skewers on platter to serve.
