This filling would make delicious pots de creme!

Make Ahead
Serves 6-8
Ingredients:
- 9″ baked pie shell
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- whipped cream
- chocolate curls or walnuts for garnish
Instructions:
- Cream butter.
- Gradually add sugar, creaming well.
- Blend in melted chocolate and vanilla.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating at medium speed for 5 minutes after each addition.
- Turn mixture into cooled pie shell and chill for 1-2 hours.
- Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings or walnuts.
