Freezes Well
Yield: 4 dozen
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup Rice Krispies
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 8-ounce packages chopped dates coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
- Cream together butter and sugar.
- Add chopped dates.
- Boil mixture for three minutes, or until butter and dates are melted and blended together.
- Add nuts, Rice Krispies and vanilla. Cool.
- Shape into small balls and roll in coconut.
These keep well for months in a tightly closed container.
