Freezes Well

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Cream butter and 1 cup sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla, and beat thoroughly.
- Sift flour with baking powder and salt, and add in thirds to creamed mixture, alternating with the milk.
- Beat until smooth, after each addition.
- Set paper baking cups in a muffin pan and fill halfway with batter.
- Combine 3 tablespoons sugar, cinnamon and nuts.
- Sprinkle over filled muffin cups.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
