Yield: 1 dozen
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound sweet butter, not margarine
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup raisins, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Cream butter and cream cheese.
- Add flour and mix well.
- Divide into 3 balls.
- Roll each out about 1/4″ thick and then roll up into a log.
- Wrap and chill 2 hours.
- When chilled, unroll and cover with cinnamon sugar, nuts and raisins.
- Roll up and slice into 1/2″ pieces.
- Place on greased cookie sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes.
