Make Ahead
Serves 8
Ingredients:
- 9″ unbaked pie shell
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 2 tablespoons bourbon
- whipped cream
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Cream butter.
- Add sugar gradually and cream together.
- Add eggs, corn syrup, salt and vanilla.
- Stir in chocolate chips, nuts and bourbon and mix well.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes.
- Serve warm with whipped cream.
