Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 cups butter
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 6 Heath bars
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Cream butter, sugar and vanilla together.
- Add flour and baking soda and mix.
- Place the candy bars in a double plastic bag and crush finely with a hammer.
- Add the candy to the batter and shape into 2 rolls about 2″ in diameter.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Cut the rolls into 1/4″ slices and bake for 15 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet. The cookies spread during baking, so leave plenty of space between the slices.
