Ingredients:
Crust
- 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2
- cup margarine
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Filling
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
Crust
- Preheat oven to 350o.
- Mix together crust ingredients until crumbly.
- Put into a greased 9″ x 9″ pan and press down evenly.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
Filling
- Sift together 2 tablespoons flour and 1/4 teaspoon salt and set aside.
- Beat eggs and add 1 cup brown sugar, vanilla, coconut and nuts, blending thoroughly.
- Add sifted flour and mix well.
- Pour over the baked crust and bake again at 375° for 20 minutes more.
- Cool and cut into small squares.
