Chocolate Drop Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1-3/4 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2-1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large package (12 ounces) chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Cream butter, cottage cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
  3. Sift together and add dry ingredients.
  4. Add chocolate chips and nuts.
  5. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake for 12-14 minutes.

This dough keeps well in the refrigerator and can be made several days in advance.
