Freezes Well
Yield: 8 dozen
Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1-3/4 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2-1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 large package (12 ounces) chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Cream butter, cottage cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
- Sift together and add dry ingredients.
- Add chocolate chips and nuts.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes.
This dough keeps well in the refrigerator and can be made several days in advance.
